Captain Jim Jadul

In 2023 we lost a staunch supporter and generous volunteer Captain of the Clean up Boat. Jim Jadul was not only a Captain, but he also handled much of the day-to-day and seasonal operational needs. In addition to his strong support of the Clean Up Boat, Jim was a Veteran of both the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard. His genuine smile, hard work and positive outlook will be dearly missed.

Tom McNichol

In 2017 we lost our Founder, Tom McNichol, after a fierce battle with Cancer. Tom was the visionary behind the Charles River Clean Up Boat, and has been sorely missed by his many friends and supporters of the Charles River.
